Our Origin Story.

Founded as a nonprofit in 2017, the Dana Point Surf Club is not merely a gathering of surf enthusiasts & competitors, but a community-based movement, etching its own chapter in Dana Point History. Born out of a partnership with West Coast Boardriders Club, the Dana Point Surf Club has transcended the traditional confines of a surf club by embracing the past, present and future of Dana Point and serving the vibrant community that calls these waves home.

    Celebrating Good Vibes at the DPSC Christmas Party.

    Project Social hosts Dana Point Surf Club for a night of fun, family & community.

    The night was filled with warmth, laughter and great company as everyone pitched in to make it truly special. A delicious taco bar satisfied our appetites, a delightful cocoa station kept the kids happy and Santa Claus made a special appearance!  New faces, and old familiar ones, all united as family to celebrate the evening with plenty of drinks and camaraderie. The excitement reached new heights as we bestowed Rights of Passage names. It was an unforgettable night that reaffirmed our commitment to family, fun, and community— core values of the Dana Point Surf Club.
